The Device is taken out using a non-touch technique

After a thorough vaginal examination, the loaded tube assembly is introduced through the cervical canal.

The plunger tube is withdrawn slowly, releasing the arms of the T in the uterus.

The thread of the IUD is cut with sterile scissors so that they protrude only 2-3cms or as required into the vagina.

The forceps and speculum are released, marking the completion of the insertion process.
